SKILL ACQUISITION PROGRAM ON BAKING AND CONFECTIONERY

This is a skill acquisition project on baking and confectionery conducted by Uratta Global Initiative. It took place at Orie Uratta. This program was conducted on 18th to 20th April 2023 and also on 25th to 27th April 2023.

The event was also supported by Uratta Development Association. The participant were taught how to bake and how to make confectionery. At the end of the program, all the participants were given a certificate of completion. and some people also got industrial baking Oven.

Maiden project of Uratta Global Initiative

This is of the maiden project of Uratta Global Initiative for all the primary schools in ten communities in Uratta.

Total of 8,000 exercise books for distribution to all the primary schools in ten communities in Uratta

1. To reorient Nde-Uratta toward resource conservation and awareness
2. To identify and develop a new generation of Uratta leaders through education and endowments
3. To set up mechanisms for inter and intra community governance and to advocate for better security of life and property within Uratta
4. To act as a political pressure group through constructive engagement with other stakeholders within and beyond Uratta
